Lance John

Hello all my name is Lance John. I've been a nerd at heart ever since I was given a computer that more or less taught me basic programming. My first program was to make a pixilated house talk. Exciting!  I've loved video games ever since I got my hands on a Turbo Grafix 16 System (if I didn't date myself with the computer part this system will). From there I went to play and own many consoles.  I've loved movies ever since I saw The Good The Bad and the Ugly. This led to me switching my career path into multimedia editing, a passion of mine.   Because of video games, movies and computers I have found my path in life and love living every second of it. My wide knowledge base on many things geek and nerd-oriented have allowed a way for me to make content of what I love. One of the first ventures in this field was organizing video game tournaments with Castle Gaming. Later on I co-create and co-host various shows such as Press Any Key Podcast, Pondering Nerds Podcast and The Titty Talk Show, all of which I'm proud of. This is why working with Geeks With Wives is so exciting because I get to continue doing what I love to do.   I look forward to the future in the world or nerdom and can't wait to see and play with all it has to offer.

While I think Tom Hardy would make a good Frank Castle, I’d like to see someone new take the role. It seems like actors get type-cast as comic book character actors and a handful get all the roles (Ryan Reynolds and especially Chris Evans are extreme examples). At the same time, I wouldn’t mind if Tom Jane got the role back, since he killed it in 2004.

He definitely did! There are some good choices out there, but like I said on the show, I kind of think they will go with a lesser known actor who can really make that part theirs (or at least attempt to do so). Thanks for the feedback brother!

On McDonald’s dumbassed marketing: These are the same people who had an internet ad about a burger that literally said “Hmmm. I’d hit it.”

Oh man have I got some things to say about this episode. First off, yeah, that VR/AR theme park is INSANE! Sign me up!

Also, Alyssa, THANK YOU for pointing out that Charlie Cox was in Stardust! That totally blew my mind because I never would have realized it had you not said something! Mainly because he’s British and did an American accent on Dare Devil. And yeah, Stardust is a GREAT movie. If you haven’t seen it you should.

And a fun fact: One of my clients (she is a billionaire and lives on a tropical island not far from my house) is a movie and Broadway producer. She funded and produced the Spider Man Broadway show. And she knows how bad it was… She is producing better quality Indy movies now. But I thought it was funny that you mentioned that show :P

    Great episode!
