With Summer Brutality 2015 winding down, I feel that it’s time to share the journey with the rest of our fine gaming community. The purpose of this challenge: to become a better gamer by trekking through the fire and brimstone of some of the most challenging games in existence. From Ghosts ‘n Goblins to Volgarr the Viking, ten of the most notably difficult games from all eras have been represented in this event.

The format: all games are played one-by-one, for 2 hours apiece, on different dates. Prior to starting the challenge, I set a goal and then do my damndest to achieve it within the 2 hour time limit. LIVE on my Twitch channel! For those unable to make it to the live event, a playlist exists that provides the highlights from each stream. That playlist is displayed below.

As of August 17th, 2015, only one game remains: Castlevania Rondo of Blood! The goal: KILL DRACULA! Regardless if you tune in on August 18th, 2015 at 9PM EST for the exciting conclusion of one of the most epic underdog stories in gaming history, consider this post your complete, historical reference of Summer Brutality 2015 in all of its pixelated glory. For gamers, by gamers!

Be sure to keep your eyes here on Gaming Rebellion, as I’ll be regaling you good folks with a tale of a family of vampire hunters. You know them…they’re surname is Belmont…Lumpz the Clown OUT!
